Something clicked at the gym

I have been keeping to my goal of making it to the gym the past couple of weeks, and to be honest, I have not been loving it. This morning, though, was really different in a good way. It actually felt great to be jogging again, and not such a chore, and I had a lot more energy to keep going. I've been doing my own modified version of The Couch to 5K Running Plan. Hoping this is a new trend, and not just a one time moment.

Not much knitting this weekend at all because I've been really busy with work stuff yesterday and again today. Last week I did start my first sweater, the Weekend Warrior from The Yarn Girls' Guide to Simple Knits, with some Lion Brand Homespun yarn that P. gave me. I am double stranding it and using size 17 needles, which feel a little awkward to me. I am about halfway done with the back. My Rowan Felted Tweed in Herb has finally arrived so I can pick it up tomorrow and can continue with my Branching Out scarf. That has been on hold for quite some time - it will be like looking at the pattern for the first time.
