Stitch'n & Bitch'n

I finally made it to the NoMoCo Stitch and Bitch at Panera in Gaithersburg last night. I've been meaning to get there for a while, but last night was my first night attending. I was nervous about going, but I had a good time. It was nice spending time with others who are in the knit. Read the comments from BabblingB , who didn't realize who I was last night, in my previous post. LOL! =)

In other knitting news, P. told me about a local online yarn site that I just checked out. Nice new discovery! I just put in an order for more Rowan Felted Tweed in Herb for my Branching Out Scarf. I can't wait for it to get here as Branching Out is on hold for now until it arrives. I originally started it with some leftovers from my poncho to see if I could do the pattern, but I like the way it's looking with that yarn so I might as well keep going. J. had lunch with P. and another former co-worker this week. He told her that he thought she had been a very bad influence on me with all of the knitting and yarn resources she keeps telling me about so that I can keep shopping and indulging. Haha!

I've also signed up for my first Secret Pal, Secret Pal 6. I am excited to be participating in it. Since I started reading knitting blogs, I've heard so much about it that I wanted to join in. It should be fun.

Hi! It was so nice to chat with you last night at knitting (I was the one complaining about the library). I hope to see you again soon!
