Feather and Fan

Here's a current work in progress. It's a feather and fan dishcloth, but I am going to use it as a plantholder. I love this stitch, very easy to do, and it looks kind of elegant. I want to learn more lace knitting stitches. I have done one other lace object, a poncho with Rowan felt tweed double stranded. I will have to get J. to take a picture of me wearing it to post. I cane nvision the possibilities of using this feather and fan stitch for other projects already.

See the colors of this yarn (Sugar and Creme) - not bad for a buck at Michael's, right? I downloaded Photoshop Elements 3.0 as a trial; it really helps with editing your pictures. I quickly fixed the color in this shot, and it brightens it up so much so that you can really see the flecks of color in the yarn. I am very impressed with it - may be a purchase down the road. I have so many pictures that I have taken and never done anything with except store them on the computer or upload to Snapfish to share with friends and family. I really need to start touching them up and printing them out to put in an album.
