Farmer's Market

Wednesday is Farmer's Market day in Rockville. I love going to the Farmer's Market to check out all of the fresh produce, baked goods, and flowers. I didn't have any cash on me this morning, which is usually the case. If I am lucky, I might have fifty cents in my wallet. Since we use our debit/check card for almost everything, and almost all stores/restaurants accept them, I tend to go this route almost 100% of the time. I know, it's a bad habit, and I should carry some cash for emergencies. I can almost hear my mom telling me this. Anyhow, J. actually had some cash this morning and gave me five bucks for the Market. Woohoo. I bought locally grown corn on the cob, a basket of red new potatoes, and these wonderful zinnia. Don't the colors just pop? It's a nice bit of color for our dining room with its plain white lacy tablecloth. They are in the lovely vase that my friend gave us this weekend as a housewarming gift.
