Faux Lace Summer Scarf

This is the Faux Lace Summer Scarf from the Knit Happens store website. It's Artyarns Royal Silk #104 knit with size 7 needles. Now this is some yummy yarn - feels so good to touch and the colors are just so pretty with some green, blue, and yellow. This was another knitting break from the Big Bad Baby Blanket, and a very quick knit. It was good practice for me to do some increasing and decreasing. I really enjoyed it.

Ssshh! This is a birthday gift for a dear friend. I hope she likes it. She lives in a climate where it's really too warm for a heavy winter scarf so I thought that a pretty scarf like this would be nice to wear. I want to knit one for myself in another color, maybe in this nice pink.
